I am a Commerce graduate, working in Logistics and Supply Chain systems. Part time tennis player, full time runner. Addicted to statistics (Gaming, Exercise, Business and anything I can get my hands on). A Mensa member.
I have a keen interest in Photography. I prefer to think of myself as someone who does it for the fun (editing process not fun) and to challenge myself.
I live in what some would call 'The most dangerous city in the world'. But love it here and it provides for some pretty good entertainment and economic opportunities- photographic ones not too much.

Its been a long time.
But I have decided to get back into photography. My newest images are all taken while in Cape Town (I needed some inspiration).

Almost a year ago, I received my first camera as a gift. In that year I have gone from knowing nothing about using it, to knowing a little more then nothing although I did get good news I came runner up in the first photography competition I ever entered, and my photo was published in a national news paper. I take hope from that.
To me it will be an ongoing learning experience, it's what I love. Sometimes it can be forgiving and sometime not. It depends on a number of factors that are out of a cameras control. Something greater. I hope to always remember why I take photos. To capture the beauty my eyes see and hold it for another time.

So the year is flying by quickly, still working hard at varsity. Starting to take shape in the form of a degree. Nice to be able to actually see what I am doing all this for.
I'm really excited ordered and adapter for Yashica lenses to Canon EOS body, so I hope to make full use of the 4 excellent Yashica lenses I own. Also in an attempt to understand them and learn them I should then move on to experimenting with the Yashica Camera itself, I want to learn what to expect from the lenses before moving on to film as it gets a tad expensive.
Lightroom has been a great help in my editing process, must admit it's a brilliant piece of software bu
